Role Title: Registered Nurse

Role Type: Contractor

Location: United States, Remote

Compensation

$60-$70 USD per hour micro1 is engaging Registered Nurses to contribute their expertise to a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your inpatient clinical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required. Your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  • Annotate and review clinical content and inpatient documentation (nursing notes, progress notes, care plans, orders, lab results, and discharge summaries), ensuring accuracy, clinical soundness, and completeness.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness across a range of inpatient populations and care scenarios.
  • Apply bedside nursing judgment and knowledge of inpatient workflows, standards of care, and documentation practices to validate and enrich datasets.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in clinical documentation.
  • Provide high-quality feedback on guidelines and edge cases to improve project workflows and model understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Based in the United States and able to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
  • Recent inpatient bedside RN experience.
  • Broad clinical exposure, with comfort reviewing documentation across different inpatient populations rather than a narrow specialty.
  • Experience in an academic or large health system setting (e.g., a large teaching hospital), with exposure to complex patients, workflows, and documentation practices.
  • Previous annotation experience with positive performance reviews.
  • Proficiency with both written and verbal communication, with a strong attention to clarity and detail.
