Role Title: Registered Nurse

Role Type: Contractor

Location: United States, Remote

Compensation: $60-$70 USD per hour

micro1 is engaging Registered Nurses to contribute their expertise to a dynamic project for a valued customer. In this role, you'll apply your inpatient clinical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required. Your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

  1. Annotate and review clinical content and inpatient documentation (nursing notes, progress notes, care plans, orders, lab results, and discharge summaries), ensuring accuracy, clinical soundness, and completeness.
  2. Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness across a range of inpatient populations and care scenarios.
  3. Apply bedside nursing judgment and knowledge of inpatient workflows, standards of care, and documentation practices to validate and enrich datasets.
  4. Collaborate with project stakeholders via written and verbal communication to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities in clinical documentation.
  5. Provide high-quality feedback on guidelines and edge cases to improve project workflows and model understanding.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Based in the United States and able to practice as a Registered Nurse in the U.S.
  2. Recent inpatient bedside RN experience.
  3. Broad clinical exposure, with comfort reviewing documentation across different inpatient populations rather than a narrow specialty.
  4. Experience in an academic or large health system setting (e.g., a large teaching hospital), with exposure to complex patients, workflows, and documentation practices.
  5. Previous annotation experience with positive performance reviews.
  6. Proficiency with both written and verbal communication, with a strong attention to clarity and detail.
